Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Aurora, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The scope of Phase 1A includes renovation of gatehouses, pier and pavilion, installation of a kayak launch, and creation of open grassy areas for recreation. Each bidder must submit qualifications. Work includes but is not limited to the following items: the reconfiguration of the main park entrance and intersection, asphalt parking lots, park roads, asphalt trails, concrete walks, unit pavers, aggregate surfacing, fencing, gates and gate operators, dumpster enclosure, boat ramp with dock and accessible kayak launch, Gatehouse plaza with two restored/reconstructed open air building structures with restroom facilities, restoration of pier, dock, and shelter, new utilities including water lines, sanitary sewer service along with temporary pumping station, storm sewers, electrical power and site lighting, natural gas, fiber optics with site security cameras, naturalized lake edge with hardscaped gathering spaces, lawns and landscaping. The project is anticipated to begin immediately upon award and must attain Final Completion by August 31, 2026. The City of Aurora will only receive Bids through the Bid Express website. All bid forms, contract documents, and plans are available through the Bid Express website. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or digital or paper bid bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, signed by a Surety Company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio. If not providing a digital bid bond, wet-ink original bid bonds, checks, or letters of credit must be delivered to the Office of the Director of Public Service, Aurora Service Department, 158 W. Pioneer Trail, Aurora, Ohio, by the bid opening date and time. Any person contemplating submitting a bid may submit through Bid Express a written request for interpretation of any part of the contract documents.
