The County of Stanislaus (County) is seeking qualified and experienced Contractors with valid C-7 or C-10 license, E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number and current DIR registration numbers to upgrade the network infrastructure by furnishing and installing a structured cabling and fiber system at the Modesto Library located at 1500 I Street, Modesto CA 95354. The project includes running new fiber optic cabling between the main and intermediate distribution frames, installing approximately 275 Cat6a data drops throughout the facility, utilizing and expanding existing cable pathways, and providing thorough labeling and documentation of all installed components. The successful Proposer will coordinate with County IT and General Services, comply with all relevant codes and E-Rate program requirements, and supply factory -terminated patch cables for connected devices. All work must be completed within the contract timeline and meet industry standards, with preference given to contractors experienced in public sector and E-Rate-funded library projects. The County has identified certain criteria to be used as a basis for a scope of work, which is set forth in this RFP and specifically in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and made a part hereof. It is the Proposers responsibility to propose a complete Scope of Work that explains in detail the Proposers offering. This proposed Scope of Work will be used as the basis for negotiating the final Scope of Work for inclusion in the resultant Contract. The RFP contains the minimum list of services and deliverables the selected Proposer is expected to provide the County Proposers must provide a proposed schedule of the work to be completed at the three (3) sites. The County intends to enter into a Contract effective upon award and terminating at the conclusion of the work, plus any applicable warranty period. An extension of the term of the Contract may be made through an amendment to the Contract. If the extension of the Contract necessitates additional funding beyond that which was included in the original Contract, the increase in the compensation to be paid by the County will be made through a Change Order to the Contract.
