Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Kentwood, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The general scope of repair work includes the removal and replacement of existing concrete sidewalks, including the removal of tree roots, as needed, and all necessary restoration of the areas. Subject to available funding, the City may include the installation of new sidewalk sections as part of a "fill-in" project at various locations throughout the City. A "fill-in" project involves constructing new sidewalks in areas without existing walks to create continuous pedestrian connections. The proposed unit prices for each (repair and fill-in) shall be fully inclusive of all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the Work. Work locations (Sites) will be distributed throughout the City of Kentwood, Michigan, and may include residential neighborhoods, commercial districts, municipal facilities, parks, and public rights-of-way (ROW).
