Project Schedule: Design is anticipated to start in the first/second quarter of 2026 with the completion of construction documents by the third/fourth quarter. Construction will be delayed depending on utilizing USDA Rural Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program process. The start of construction is contingent on the availability of funding. Construction duration to reach substantial completion is estimated at approximately 12 to 18 months and will be conducted in phases in order to minimize disruption to the jail operations/sheriff office.
