Reference Number 0000407890 Question Deadline 01/16/2026 at 3:00 PM ET A.The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, subject to the final approval by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner. The Contract will be awarded subject to receipt of funds to finance the project and acquisition of easements, during which time the proposal guarantees of the lowest three responsive, responsible Bidders will be held. B.The party to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond and shall provide proofs of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award to the successful Bidder. The necessary Agreement and Bond forms shall accompany the Notice of Award. If the Contractor awarded the project fails to execute the Agreement, submit Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond and provide proofs of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award, the Owner may declare the Contractor in default, in which case the Proposal. Guarantee accompanying the Proposal will be forfeited to the Owner. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each proposal. Scope of work for the Elizabeth Lake Pump Station Rehabilitation Project Phase 1B: 1) Replace the existing flanged 30x10-inch tee with a 30-inch tee (furnished by others). 2) Utilize temporary bypass pumping system to bypass the station from the bypass structure with stop logs built adjacent to the station along the 54-inch influent sewer to the 30-inch force main. 3) Connect bypass pumping equipment to building power/standby power. 4) Install temporary cover over bypass structure to limit odors in area while permanent cover is removed. 5) Provide continuous wet well dewatering during project due to leakage through stop log system. Reroute any other flows from wet well to bypass structure. 6) Dewater and clean wet well. 7) Install protective coating on wet well. 8) Replace the bar screen in kind in the wet well. 9) Replace railing and repair items in wet well as show on the Drawings. 10) Remove the MJ x FL wall pipes on the suction piping for five (5) pumps that pass through the 18-inch reinforced concrete wall between the wet well and dry well. Replace pipe and mechanical wall seals. 11) Replace five (5) flared suction elbows in the wet well. 12) Replace the suction piping on the five (5) sewage pumps 13) Install the suction gate valves and hydraulic actuators (furnished by others). Connect the proposed hydraulic actuators to the existing plant process water system. Connect the actuator limit switches to the existing controls system. The project includes sanitary bypass pumping, wetwell cleaning and coating, manual bar screen replacement, piping and valve replacement, concrete coring and repair.
