The work shall consist of providing full geotechnical and geological hazard evaluation services for the District’s Performing Art Center (PAC) project. The selected firm must be capable of performing the complete scope of services as outlined in the Exhibit A to the District’s form of Independent Consultant Agreement for Geotechnical and Geological Hazard Evaluation Services, referenced as Attachment “A.” The specific scope of services and final fee will be negotiated and finalized in the contract. The respondent may be required to assist the District in working with various outside governmental agencies as applicable, such as City or County Planning Commissions and Departments, the Department of Toxic Substance Control, regional air quality control districts, state and regional water quality control boards, the State Department of Education, the Division of the State Architect, the State Allocation Board, and the Office of Public School Construction. Respondents must submit their proposal in the specified format, including five bound copies, one unbound copy marked "Copy for Reproduction," and one electronic copy on a flash drive or CD. The material must follow the specified page limitations and organization with tabbed sections, as detailed in the instructions. Any proprietary information must be properly identified in the unbound copy. Proposals must comply with non-discrimination assurances, restrictions on lobbying or contact with District officials during the process, and include required certifications regarding conflict of interest. The District reserves the right to waive informalities, negotiate contract terms, and reject any or all submittals at its sole discretion. Participation in this process does not guarantee a contract award and costs for preparing proposals are not reimbursable.
