Reference Number 0000407552 The project will include, but is not limited to: The City of Aspen is seeking a qualified engineering consultant to provide full design services for the rehabilitation of the Smuggler Bridge, a 52-year-old structure carrying Power Plant Road over Castle Creek. The project will address ongoing scour at the abutments, deterioration of the deck, bearings, substructure concrete, and localized steel corrosion, while making targeted safety and operational improvements to extend the service life of the bridge. The selected contractor will be responsible for investigations, analysis, permitting support, and preparation of complete, stamped construction documents from project kickoff through 100% design.
