The project will include, but is not limited to, a thorough structural evaluation of the Aspen Mountain Water Tank, focusing on identifying and documenting any signs of movement, settlement, cracking, or deterioration. Assessment of all tank appurtenances, including ladders, overflow piping, and anchors, with attention to corrosion and physical condition. An out-of-service inspection to enable detailed analysis of the tank's interior and exterior, including roof penetrations and wall-to-floor joints. A settlement survey to quantify any differential movement and inform repair strategies. Development of a comprehensive report summarizing findings and providing recommendations for rehabilitation, including alternatives and cost analysis. All work shall comply with applicable City of Aspen Water Distribution Standards, AWWA, and CDPHE requirements. The Aspen Mountain Water Tank is located partway up Aspen Mountain, with access via dirt roads from either Ute Avenue or S. Aspen Street The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or accept what is, in its judgment, the Proposal which is in the City's best interest. The City further reserves the right, in the best interests of the City, to accept a late submittal or to waive any technical defects or irregularities in any and all Proposals submitted.
