The City of Aspen is seeking professional civil engineering and general contracting services to replace and improve stormwater inlets, pipe laterals, ADA-compliant ramps, and critical sidewalk panels impacted directly by the stormwater inlet or ADA-compliant ramp work. Improvements will be guided by comprehensive survey data and will focus on integrating updated designs with existing infrastructure to ensure effective drainage and compliance with current standards. By reconstructing pedestrian ramps and crossings that do not meet ADA requirements, the project will support safer and more accessible routes for all users, contributing to the overall drainage condition and connectivity of the area. Reference Number 0000412367 The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit professional civil engineering and general contracting services focused specifically on replacing inlets and pedestrian ramps along Main St (Eastbound Hwy 82) in Aspen, Colorado. The City of Aspen is issuing a design/build Request for Proposals (RFP) for the replacement of stormwater inlets, pipe laterals, ADA ramps, and sidewalks at designated Main St intersections. Comprehensive condition and survey data for these locations has already been collected and will be provided to support the design and construction process. The primary focus of this project is to update and replace all stormwater system components ensuring effective drainage and compliance with current standards. Additionally, pedestrian ramps at the Southwest corner of each intersection will be designed.
