The work involves furnishing all labor and materials for the construction, complete in-place, of the following approximate quantities: 34,000 square yards mill bituminous surface (1.5"), 2,000 linear feet remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, 3,500 tons bituminous pavement (all types), 70 each adjust frame & ring casting, 5 each gate valve bolt replacement (8"-16"), 6 each remove and replace gate valve (8"-16"), 30 linear feet 8"-16" DIP watermain. There is a bid alternate for mill and overlay improvements which includes 5,500 square yards mill bituminous surface (1.5"), 1 each remove gate valve, 200 linear feet remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, 650 tons bituminous pavement (all types), 10 each adjust frame & ring casting, 1 each gate valve bolt replacement (8"), 10 linear feet 8" DIP watermain. All bidders and submissions must comply with the provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor. Bids must be submitted electronically through the specified electronic bidding service. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days.
