Site work and paving for a civil project in Clifton Springs, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. All questions prior to the bid opening must be received by the close of business on Monday, January 19 at 4pm local time. Questions shall be directed to Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architect DPC, to Barry Dumbauld at dumbauldb@hunt-eas.com or 607-358-1000. As bid security, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to the Village of Clifton Springs in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders The Owner requires that all bids shall comply with the bidding requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may, at their discretion, waive informalities in bids, but is not obligated to do so, nor does this represent that the Owner will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Under no circumstances will the Owner waive any informality which, by such waiver, would give one Bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) after the actual date of the opening, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A DBE goal does not apply for this project per the Interim Final Rule implementing changes to the DBE program regulations issued by the United States Department of Transportation on October 3,2025.
