Renovation of an educational facility in Clifton Springs, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Proposals are requested for Roof Construction (Contract No.101) at the MES School Building (Primary/Intermediate/Elementary School, Door 1) for the Phelps Clifton-Springs Central School District. The work involves roof reconstruction for the MES Emergency Roof Project. Bidders are required to comply with all COVID-19 safety protocols as stipulated by applicable law. Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Drawings, and Specifications are available from Rotolite-Elliott Corporation for a fee. A Bid Bond or Certified Check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid as security. The successful bidder must execute the contract and provide a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days of award. NYS Department of Labor Prevailing Wage rates apply. The project is tax exempt, and work is to begin immediately following contract signing and be prosecuted diligently. Midlakes CSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids or accept the one deemed in the best interest of the Owner, and may disqualify bidders for failure to comply with the instructions. Prevailing wages must be honored. Covid-19 Construction: To the extent required by SED guidance and other applicable law, construction shall continue as long as each contractor complies with social distancing requirements, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, testing and/or proof of vaccination requirements, and all applicable law and protocols in connection with COVID-19 exposure control at the job-site. Doc note-Any Bidder upon returning such set in good condition within seven (7) days after the date set for Bid opening will be refunded the deposit
