Proposals are requested for Roof Construction (Contract No. 101) at the MES School Building (Primary/Intermediate/Elementary School). Construction must comply with social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, testing and/or proof of vaccination requirements, and all applicable laws and protocols related to COVID-19 exposure control at the job-site. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from Rotolite-Elliott Corporation for a specified deposit or download fee. Drawings and specifications are available after 9 a.m. on March 16, 2026. Bidders must return hardcopy sets in good condition within seven days after the bid opening to be eligible for a deposit refund. The right is reserved to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept a bid deemed in the best interest of the owner. Bidders may be disqualified for material failure to comply with instructions. A bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid must be submitted as a guarantee. Successful bidders must execute a contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within ten days of award. Bidders shall not withdraw their bids for a period of forty-five days after the bid opening. NYS DOL Prevailing Wage applies to the project. The work is tax exempt and must be prosecuted diligently upon contract signing, according to contract requirements.
