Repair and replacement of 30 inch steel Madison water transmission line, in Crook County, Wyoming. The work includes water transmission pipelines and water main repair, replacement, and rehabilitation. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. The Work is located in Crook County, Wyoming, and extends from mile marker 165 to mile marker 170 along US Hwy 14. B. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing 30- inch steel pipeline, valves, blow-offs, access manholes and other pipeline features; installation of replacement 30-inch steel pipeline, valve vaults, access manholes, blow-offs and other pipeline features; internal repair of existing pipeline cement mortar lining; hydrostatic testing, disinfection and flushing of transmission main; grading and surfacing repairs related to pipeline installation. and all other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. C. The Contractor shall provide written confined space entry program to the Engineer that includes ventilation, submersion, and evacuation provisions for the internal inspection work. Contractor shall be responsible for safety at the site. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
