Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work as shown on the plans and as specified herein consists mainly of roadway resurfacing, sewer repairs, manhole structure repair and adjustments, and concrete flat work. The work is to be performed on and around various streets within varying subdivisions within the City of West Chicago. The net length of roadway improvements is approximately 2.51 miles. This MFT funded project includes, but is not limited to, the following items: pavement milling, hot-mix asphalt (HMA) binder and surface course installation, HMA patching, manhole structure repair and adjustments, sewer repairs, PCC curb and gutter removal and replacement, PCC sidewalk removal and replacement, sidewalk ramp ADA panel installation, aggregate shoulder installation, parkway restoration, thermoplastic pavement markings and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein.
