Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to construct all improvements designated as INDIAN POINTE 192ND STREET TRAIL. The work consists of the construction or effectuation of the following items: Mobilization/Demobilization, Traffic Control, Remove Pavement, Clearing and Grubbing Trees Over 9" to 18" Diameter, Install Silt Fence, Install Curb Inlet Protection, Subgrade Preparation, Construct PCC Curb Ramp, Construct Detectable Warning Panel, Construct 6" PCC Multi-Use Trail, Construct 5" PCC Sidewalk, Construct 6" Imprinted PCC Surface, Construct 9" Combination Curb and Gutter, Construct 9" Doweled Concrete Pavement (Type OPW 3500), Construct Segmental Retaining Wall, Construct 42" Chain Link Fence, Construct Curb Inlet - Type III, Construct 18" RCP, Class III, Construct Aggregate Bedding for 18" Type R2, 18" Storm Sewer Pipe, Construct 18" RC Flared End Section, Install Rolled Erosion Control, Type 1 With Seeding- Type A, and Construct Type B Rip-Rap. Each bid must be accompanied in a separate sealed envelope by a certified check on a bank insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the amount specified, payable without condition to the Treasurer, or a bid bond for a like amount as evidence of good faith and as agreed upon liquidated damages if the bidder fails to enter into contract and furnish bond within ten days of Notice of Award. No bidder may withdraw his proposal for thirty days after the date set for the opening of bids. Plans and specifications are available for examination and acquisition, and all costs associated with obtaining documents are the responsibility of the bidder and are non-refundable. Bids will only be accepted from those listed on the plan holders lists maintained by the Engineer and Standard Digital Imaging. The right to waive formalities and reject any or all bids is reserved.
