Renovation of a municipal facility in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Estimated Project Cost: $6,766,089.00 This is a standard low bid project that includes general, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical construction, but the advertisement is only for general and electrical services. The scope is for the renovation of the District 12-0 Fayette County Maintenance Office. The estimated ranges are: General Construction $2,000,000 - $3,000,000; HVAC $3,000,000 - $4,000,000; Plumbing under $100,000; Electrical $600,000 - $700,000. Liquidated damages apply for General ($1,500 per day) and Electrical ($500 per day) contracts. No bid guaranty is required. All proposers must be registered to view/download plans and specifications and must have an active vendor number. All must create a user profile within e-Builder to access the bid package. Bids are only accepted electronically through e-Builder. Technical support is available via email or phone. Public bid openings must be viewed using a Windows PC. For Small Diverse Business (SDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation: Bidders must agree to meet SDB and VBE participation goals or show they made good faith efforts. The goals are: General Construction - 18% SDB and 3% VBE; Electrical Construction - 22% SDB and 3% VBE. Compliance with employment verification and worker protection laws is required. No entity may post departmental bid invitation documents to social media or other public website platforms. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Main Office Building - Replace existing roof top equipment, BAS, portions of roof membrane, emergency generator, electrical service panels, areas of damaged site concrete, door hardware, window systems, and hallway carpet. Renovate existing spaces to create ADA compliant and universal toilet rooms. Renovate or repair interior wall and ceiling finishes in the attached maintenance area Detached Preventative Maintenance Garage - Replace existing power distribution and lighting, air handling unit. Provide new energy recovery ventilation equipment. Renovate existing toilet room for ADA compliance. Renovate enclosed mezzanine for code compliance.
