Scope of work: - Supply and install new canopy at Ashford High School along front side of lunchroom. Refer to attached drawings and specifications on pages 7 through 9. Instructions to bidders: - Bidders may view areas where work is to be performed during the Prebid meeting walk-through only at the specified date and time at Ashford High School. - System must be available 24/7 except during brief, coordinated and approved maintenance periods. - Include a bid bond or certified cashier check for 5% of bid proposal for contracts of $10,000 or more. - Furnish a Certificate of Insurance for personal injury and property damage within specified limits, maintain this insurance for the duration of the contract. - Submit copies of required licenses, E-Verified documentation, and the completed Bid Response Form in the sealed bid packet. - Failure to provide requested information in the requested format or to meet outlined criteria is reason for disqualification without consideration. - Submit sealed bids before the opening date and time, properly marked and addressed. No late, faxed, or electronic bids will be accepted. - All pricing must be entered in the Bid Response Form; reference statements are not permitted in the form. - Bid price must be all-inclusive with no additional allowable costs. Prices shall remain firm for the contract term and any extensions. - List all bid specification deviations in the Bid Response Form; if none are listed, compliance is presumed. - Bidders must comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations as they apply to this bid. - The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and award all or part of the contract based on the best interest of the district. - Bidders must have been in continuous business for a minimum of three years. - Protect school property during installation and repair any damages at bidders expense. Follow all district regulations while on property. Bidders must be easily identified. - Non-performance may be grounds for contract cancellation.
