Addition to a municipal facility in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility.

The City of Texas City is requesting bids for the Public Works/Engineering Building Expansion Project. It is the responsibility of each bidder to inspect the site and inform themselves regarding all local conditions under which the work is to be done, with the understanding that all such factors are considered in the preparation of the bid. Contractors are urged to make a good faith effort to utilize local Texas City businesses for project participants through subcontracts and/or suppliers. Bidders must submit one marked original, three exact duplicate copies, and one USB media source of the completed submittal in a sealed envelope clearly labeled with the ITB number and title. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the greatest amount bid must accompany each bid. The City of Texas City reserves the right to waive any minor informality or irregularity, reject any or all proposals, and accept the proposal(s) deemed most advantageous to the City. Question Deadline 01/16/2026 at 10:00 AM CT Written questions regarding the content of this ITB are due via email to purchasing@texascitytx.gov All questions will be answered in the form of an addendum .
