The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified source to install 8100 Synthetic Turf (or equivalent) in the new multipurpose sports building at North Medford High School. The project will consist of installing 60' x 135' of synthetic turf and a 5mm pad installed to meet manufacturer specifications. The district's expectation is that the installation will take 4-5 days. Clean-up of construction debris is the contractor's responsibility. The District reserves the right to: (1) reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) add to the price bid by nonresident bidders an increase equal to the percent preference that the nonresident bidder's home state would give its instate bidders, (3) reject for good cause any or all proposals that are not in the best interest of the District, and (4) reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any formalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever in its sole opinion it is deemed to be in the best interest of the District.
