This project is located on twenty-two street sections within the City of Medford and Jackson County, Oregon. The scope of work includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install a Type III latex modified slurry seal on these street sections, totaling approximately 309,050.5 square yards. Work involves removal of vegetation and debris from cracks, crack sealing, traffic control, public notification, preparation and restoration of all manholes, monument cases, valve boxes, storm grates, and gutter -line to pre-work condition, removal of pavement markings on 22 street sections, replacement of pavement markings on one street section, additional and incidental work per specifications, development and implementation of traffic control plans, cleaning, restoration of all streets and gutter-lines to pre-work conditions, and remedial cleanup of all construction areas to pre-work conditions. Pre-qualification requirements: All bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the proposal or a bid bond of like effect and amount with a corporate surety.
