Provide all labour, materials, tools, transportation, and services for the maintenance, cleaning, and testing of breathing air compressor systems including fill stations, repair of breathing air compressor systems including fill stations, analysis of compressed breathing air, and hydrostatic testing of the cylinders used for storage of compressed breathing air (cascade cylinders) in accordance with CSA Z180.1:19, Compressed Breathing Air and Systems. Applicable reports shall be provided for all service and testing. For equipment that fails inspection or testing, reports must include the reason for failure, recommendation for repair or replacement, and a quote for parts and labour. Repair services must be available for each breathing air compressor system including fill stations with response within 24 hours of a service request, excluding weekends or holidays, and emergency services may be required outside of regular business hours. Regular and emergency pickup and delivery rates for hydrostatic test cascade system cylinders from and to three specified fire stations are to be provided. Bidders must not be a U.S. business, must be a single legal entity, and must be registered with the City’s electronic bidding system. Submissions must include the required forms, pricing, references, subcontractor information, and current Jordair certification. Insurance and workplace safety certificates must be provided as pre-conditions of award. All instructions provided in the bidding system must be followed for submission.
