Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Fairhope, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a 1,560-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

This project is to provide a new 26x60 wood-framed Park Pavilion for the convenience and comfort of the sports complex users, pedestrians and visitors. It is a new building as part of the reconfiguration and update of the sports complex. This is a Public Works Project administered by the City of Fairhope (Owners). All contracts, purchase orders, pay request and payments will be produced by or submitted to the City of Fairhope. ONSTRUCTION OF NEW 26x60 WOOD-FRAMED PAVILION: This project involves the construction of a new pavilion at Barnwell Sports Complex in Fairhope, Alabama. The siting of the new pavilion is roughly between the former baseball diamonds at the center of the complex. The quoting contractor work entails the site grading, forming of slab(s) & turndown footers, placement of mild reinforcement, placement of slab on grade w/turndowns, slab finishing, structural and non-structural wood framing, exterior door installation, metal roofing, wall sheathing, fit, finishes, and similar wood construction tasks. All work is within existing, active and operating City recreation park. Materials and workmanship shall be per the enclosed plans and specifications. Some work will involve field investigation and coordination with City Public Works and Parks and Recreation prior to enactment. All proposed field modifications and modifications shall be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer prior to Contractors' initiation of work. 1. 15-day Notice to Proceed Period 2.
