As of May 04, 2026, the project was awarded to Criswell Contracting Services, LLC, with an awarded amount of $589,595.60. The City of Fairhope is seeking qualified contractors to provide all materials, labor, and incidentals required for the installation of twelve new lift station bypass pumps. The scope of work includes preparation, construction, and installation of concrete slabs, piping, fittings, and lift station bypass pumps. The location, materials, dimensions, and other requirements for the construction and installation of the slabs, piping, pumps, and fittings are described in the specifications, contract, and project drawings. Coordination with Hydra Services, Inc. is required for specifics regarding the materials to be provided by Hydra Services, Inc. and installed under this contract. All bids must be submitted using the blank bid forms provided in the Bid Documents, enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope, clearly identified with the item name, bid number, City of Fairhope's name and address, and contractor's name and address. Each bid must be in a separate envelope. Bids made out in pencil will not be accepted. Failure to observe these instructions will result in rejection of the bid. Bidders must comply with all Equal Employment Opportunity laws and the provisions of the contract documents. Utilization of Minority Business Enterprises is encouraged and supported. Bidders must properly qualify in accordance with all applicable Alabama laws and, where required, show evidence of appropriate licensing. Non-resident corporations must show evidence of qualification with the Secretary of State to do business in Alabama. Contractors must have or obtain a current business license with the City of Fairhope prior to performing work. No bids may be withdrawn for thirty days following the opening without the City's consent.
