Furnish and install two (2) complete NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certified B-2 bulk slurry storage and feed systems at City of Fairhope Treatment Plants 2 & 6. The equipment must be fabricated, erected, assembled, and placed in proper operating condition in full conformity with the drawings, specifications, instructions, and recommendations of the equipment manufacturer. All bids must be on blank bid forms provided in the Bid Documents, enclosed in a sealed, opaque envelope, and clearly identified on the outside with Item Name, Bid Number, City of Fairhope's Name and Address, and Contractor's Name and Address. Each bid must be in a separate envelope, and bids made out in pencil will not be accepted. Contractors must be properly qualified in accordance with all applicable Alabama laws to submit a proposal for this type of work. The City of Fairhope reserves the right to accept or reject all bids or any portion thereof, and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of the contract, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Fairhope. The pump and control building shall be preassembled and factory tested at the manufacturing facility prior to shipping. The pump and control building will hereby be referred to as the "building." 1. The tank shall be shipped directly from the manufacturer in coordination with the building and set on the prepared site. The prepared slab will be furnished by the City. 2. The building shall be transported to the site and set in place in conjunction with the storage tank. 3. The winning bidder shall provide final installation terminations and system extensions. 4.
