As of March 06, 2026, project was awarded to Jumeaux Inc, awarded amount is $3,233,102.75 Construction of a single cell 10’ x 6’ box culvert with headwall, replacement of approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8” gravity sewer and appurtenances, and approximately 1,600 linear feet of drainage channel improvements that include engineered turf revetment for slope stabilization and placement of a U-shaped concrete channel and other associated work including, but not limited to, pavement repair, fence replacement, erosion control, traffic control, etc. Sealed bids are to be submitted to the Office of Procurement at 1422 23rd Avenue, Jones Building, 2nd Floor, Gulfport, MS. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, but the right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. Bidders must adhere to non-discrimination policies. Minority and women’s business enterprises are encouraged to bid and to seek subcontracting and supply opportunities. Bids exceeding $50,000 require the Certificate of Responsibility number on the outside of the sealed proposal. Nonresident contractors must comply with Mississippi State Law regarding their state’s treatment of nonresident contractors. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within ninety (90) days after the bid opening. Direct contact with City employees, GRC Commissioners, Administration, or City Council regarding the proposal is forbidden and will result in disqualification.
