Fort River Elementary School Playground Safety Surfacing - The Town of Amherst, as Awarding Authority, invites SEALED BIDS for installation of a Corkeen, cork-based playground safety surface at the new Fort River Elementary School located at 70 South East Street, Amherst, MA. The work involves furnishing and installing a cork-based playground safety surface at the New Fort River Elementary School at a location that has been prepared for surfacing by the firm constructing the new school and site improvements in accordance with the attached specifications and drawings. All work included in this contract shall be completed no later than May 30, 2026. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. * If the Amherst Town Hall is closed on the due datefor any reason, submittals will be accepted on the next business day Town Hall is opened, at the same time andplace as stipulated. The Contractor shall endeavor to provide employment in the amount of 15.3% of the Contractor's hours worked on the project to People of Color, 6.9% of the Contractor's hours worked on the project to women, and 5% of the Contractor's hours worked on the project to Veterans.
