The County Council of Dorchester County is requesting proposals for installation of an 18-Hole Disc Golf Course in Dorchester County. The Dorchester County Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts of bids when it is judged in the best interest of the County. 1. Pre-Installation Coordination Review and confirm final course layout and hole locations. Coordinate scheduling and site access with the County. 2. Site Preparation Perform minimal clearing and grading as required for tee areas, fairways, and basket locations. Ensure protection of existing park features, utilities, and environmentally sensitive areas. Restore disturbed areas upon project completion. 3. Course Installation Furnish and install eighteen (18) regulation-quality disc golf baskets. Construct and install tee areas for each hole (artificial turf) Install tee signs, course signage, and directional markers. Install safety signage where required. Quality and Safety Standards Ensure all installations meet Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) guidelines and industry best practices. Ensure the course is designed and installed to promote player safety and efficient park circulation. 5. Final Inspection and Acceptance Conduct a final walkthrough with County staff. Address any deficiencies identified during inspection. Deliver a fully functional and ready-to-play 18-hole disc golf course. Dorchester County is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and expertise necessary for the installation of an 18-hole disc golf course at Egypt Park, located in Cambridge, Maryland. The project includes course layout implementation, installation of disc golf baskets and tee areas, signage, and any associated site preparation required to deliver a complete, safe, and playable disc golf course.
