Questions Due Date: Jan 15th 2026, 5:00 PM MST Tooele County is seeking qualified bidders to complete construction of a total of 56,470 linear feet of roadway improvements. The existing 1 inch of asphalt material along all roadway alignments will be removed and properly disposed of offsite. Two inches of PG 64-34 grade asphalt overlay will then be placed and compacted along Burmester Road, Hardy Road, and Stansbury Island Road alignments, while one and a half inches of PG 64-34 grade asphalt overlay will be placed and compacted along Center Street, Erda Way, Middle Canyon Road, North Willow Road, and South Willow Road alignments. Scope of award may be reduced to include only some of the stated roads if bid amount exceeds budgeted funds. Please see the uploaded solicitation document for project details and submission instructions. This Project consists of: Two inches of asphalt overlay laid along 11,500 linear feet of Burmester Road. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this roadway section of Burmester Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. One and a half inches of asphalt overlay laid along 1,700 linear feet of Center Street. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this roadway section of Center Street for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. One and a half inches of asphalt overlay laid along 12,160 linear feet of Erda Way. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this road way section of Erda Way for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. Two inches of asphalt overlay laid along 760 linear feet of Hardy Road. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this road section of Hardy Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. One and a half inches of asphalt overlay laid along 6,180 linear feet of Middle Canyon Road. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this road section of Middle Canyon Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. Additionally, 3 inches of asphalt will be laid for a parking area close to the existing toll booth. One and a half inches of asphalt overlay laid along 5,920 linear feet of North Willow Road. Provide 4-foot shoulder widening to each side of the existing pavement with 3 inches of asphalt placed over subbase material. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this road section of North Willow Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. One and a half inches of asphalt overlay laid along 16,500 linear feet of South Willow Road. Tie-in milling at the start and end of this road section of South Willow Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. Two inches of asphalt overlay laid along 1,750 linear feet of Stansbury Island Road. Tie-in milling at the start and end of any road section of Stansbury Island Road for a clean transition between existing and proposed roadway improvements. The principal items of work are as follows: ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS: Burmester Road, Hardy Road, and Stansbury Island Road will have 2 inches of PG 64-34 grade asphalt overlay to be placed and compacted as the finish grade surface. Any necessary re-grading of the shoulder will be included as well as new pavement markings. Center Street, Erda Way, Middle Canyon Road, North Willow Road, and South Willow Road will have 1.5 inches of PG 64-34 grade asphalt overlay to be placed and compacted as the finish grade surface.
