Tooele County is seeking proposals from qualified, licensed contractors to design and renovate two (2) small bathrooms and one (1) kitchen/breakroom located within the Tooele County Administration Building (47 S Main St. Tooele, UT). This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is not to be construed as an offer, contract, or commitment of any kind; nor does it commit Tooele County to pay any costs incurred by the bidder in the preparation of its proposal. Question Deadline 02/27/2026 at 5:00 PM MT Location : online portal - Questions must be submitted through the Utah State Purchasing U3P Website County Response to Questions March 2, 2026 @ 5:00PM MST Tooele County is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors with the experience and expertise necessary to design and complete interior renovations consisting of two (2) bathrooms and one (1) kitchen/breakroom. The desired outcome of this project is a fully renovated, functional, and codecompliant set of spaces suitable for daily staff use. Project budget ceiling is $90,000.00. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: Bathrooms (2) o Demolition and removal of existing fixtures, finishes, and materials as required. o Installation of new bathroom sinks with vanity cabinets, faucets, light fixtures, and accessories. Existing toilets may be reinstalled. Hardware shall be brushed nickel. o Replace flooring with vinyl plank flooring. o Refinishing of door/door frame finishes. Repainting of walls and ceilings. Wall color shall be Sherwin Williams - Amazing White. o Installation of mirrors, grab bars, and dispensers as required. o Plumbing modifications as necessary to support new fixtures depending on proposed fixtures. o Electrical work for lighting, exhaust fans, and receptacles. o ADA compliance upgrades where applicable. Kitchen/Breakroom o Demolition and removal of existing cabinets, countertops, and fixtures as required o Installation of new cabinets and countertops. Refinishing of doors and door frames. o Installation of new sink, faucet, and plumbing connections. Installation of new refrigerator, range, and microwave. Soda machine and pictured in attachments shall be re-installed. o Electrical upgrades for outlets, lighting, and appliances as necessary. o Flooring replacement with waterproof laminate or vinyl flooring.\ Painting and wall finishes. Paint color shall be Sherwin Williams - Amazing White. o All work must comply with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and ADA requirements. o Contractor shall obtain all required permits and inspections. o The Admin Building will remain occupied during the construction period; contractor shall coordinate work to minimize disruptions. o Jobsite must be kept clean and safe at all times. All work should be completed no later than June 30, 2026.
