Reference Number 0000408521 Bid Intent Not Available Arapahoe County is seeking bids for the construction of improvements to the intersection of the existing entrance to the 17 Mile House historic farm site. These improvements include regrading and realignment of the existing entrance, widening of the State Highway and associate drainage and utility adjustments. The project is intended to be consistent with future intersection and signal improvements. The Project Plans and Specifications will be available for public examination only at the Arapahoe County Department of Public Works - Transportation Division located at 6924 S. Lima St. Centennial CO, 80112. Question Deadline 01/16/2026 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 10 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Each Bid must be accompanied, in a sealed envelope separate from the one containing the Bid, by a bid bond on an approved form in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, made payable to Arapahoe County, Colorado which shall be considered as liquidated damages and shall be forfeited to the County if said Bid is accepted and the Bidder fails to execute the Contract within 10 calendar days after the acceptance of the Contractor's Bid by the County. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, as part of the Contract Documents, an insurance certificate in the amount specified in the Standard Special Provisions, a Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of its Contract Amount, said bonds to be issued by a responsible corporate surety approved by the County and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all materials and labor, and protect and save harmless the County from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the Contractor. Each bid shall be made on the Form of Bid provided in the Contract Documents, and no Bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for opening of bids. Arapahoe County reserves the right to reject all or part of all Bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to construct said public improvement per the plans and specifications. All bids must clearly reference ITB-26-02 on the electronic submittal. Such bids as are received will be electronically recorded on BidNet on the above stated day.
