Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Homer Glen, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The 2026 Roadway Reconstruction & Water Main Replacement Project will involve utility improvements, geometric improvements, roadway reconstruction, roadway resurfacing, and streetscape improvements. Utility improvements include the replacement of 1700 LF of watermain with appurtenances, water service replacement, private side lead service replacement, and 520 LF of storm sewer installation for drainage improvements and storm system maintenance. Roadway reconstruction includes aggregate subgrade improvement, full curb removal and replacement, 4 HMA binder course, and 2 HMA surface course. Roadway resurfacing includes spot curb removal and replacement, HMA milling and 2 of HMA surface course. Throughout the project there will also be sidewalk infill and repair, sidewalk improvements for ADA compliance, driveway removal and replacement, and landscape restoration. Pre-Qualification: Yes Any bidder who finds, in the bidder's opinion, a discrepancy in or omission from the specifications, or is in doubt as to their meaning, or believes that the specifications are discriminatory, shall notify the City identified on the bid in writing not later than 5 days prior to the scheduled opening of bids Question Deadline 01/16/2026
