Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The project consists of the removal of the existing double culvert bridge and the construction of a two-lane single-span precast concrete box beam bridge, along with associated items as specified in the Project Specifications. The entire project will be awarded to a single contractor. Bids require a satisfactory bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified, with a Prequalification Certification and applicable capacity rating as prerequisites for bidding. Bids must include a Public Works Employment Verification Form. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply for the duration of the project. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification checks. Further requirements and details are contained within the Project Specifications.
