The project consists of constructing approximately 5,050 feet of 20-inch raw water line, 80 feet of 12-inch raw water line, and all appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective bidders must purchase bidding documents directly through Duncan Parnell in order to be considered an official plan holder. Neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents obtained from sources other than the issuing office. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The general areas of work include the following: 1. Construction of new raw water line. 2. Construction of connections to existing system. 3. Pressure testing and disinfection of new raw water lines. 4. Restoration of surfaces including ground stabilization.
