The project is expected to be awarded on February 19th, 2026** The scope of work includes pavement marking of approximately 373,265 linear feet of striping, 1,963 linear feet of stop bars, 5,602 linear feet of crosswalks, 23 railroad crossings, and 293 arrows at various locations throughout the City. All workmen performing under this contract must be paid not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must comply with requirements for OSHA Construction Safety Program and must affirm, via sworn affidavit and documentation from a federal work authorization program provider, that they do not knowingly employ unauthorized aliens. A letter from contractors reciting compliance is not sufficient. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Bid Express website; no paper bids will be accepted. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. A bid may not be modified, withdrawn, or cancelled by the bidder within sixty (60) days following the time and date designated for the receipt of bids.
