Site work for a water / sewer project in Hastings, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Water main upgrades via horizontal directional drilling (HDD) installation totaling 2,500 linear feet of ductile iron pipe (DIP) with 34 gate valves, 275 linear feet of steel casing, and 24 service connections 2 inches and less for the City of Hastings. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to the City Treasurer as security. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled bid closing. The successful bidder must provide a 3-year Maintenance Bond for the full contract amount within ten (10) days of award. Timeliness, bidder's prior completion record, workload, and manpower availability will be considered. Bidders not on the approved list must fill out the Plan Holders Submittal Form found on the City website.
