Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Clarksburg in Harrison County, West Virginia is seeking a consulting engineer for the construction document preparation and subsequent bidding and construction administration of a Splash Pad at Clarksburg City Park. The selected consultant will be required to: (1) Prepare a preliminary engineering report, (2) design and prepare construction drawings, bid specifications, and bid documents, (3) evaluate bids received and make a recommendation of award, (4) monitor and inspect construction activities to assure compliance with plans and specifications, (5) review and approve the Contractor’s pay estimates, and (6) perform any other services required by the City for project implementation. Interested consultants must submit a proposal with details on qualifications, technical expertise, management and staffing capabilities, prior experience, and current errors and omissions insurance coverage. Proposals must be submitted as specified. The project may use a combination of local, state, and/or federal funds, and all work must comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Proposals will be evaluated with a focus on technical qualifications, and the City will interview at least three highly qualified firms. The City of Clarksburg reserves the right to reject any or all statements and to make an award in its best interest in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-3.
