Description

Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Spanaway, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; educational facility; and educational facility.

Bid packages include: BP-02.1 Demolition ($980,000); BP-21.1 Fire Sprinklers ($770,000); BP-22.1 Mechanical ($11,870,000); BP-26.1 Electrical ($9,460,000); BP-31.1 Site Development ($13,660,000). A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid amount is required for all bids exceeding $300,000. Payment and performance bonds are required for all bid packages $300,000 or greater, on forms provided in the project contract section. Plans and specifications may be obtained from Building Connected at the Cornerstone General Contractor’s hosted plan room or through direct email request to the Construction Manager. Bids must be submitted as indicated in the instructions to bidders, using the proper bid form and fulfilling all requirements. Faxed bids, bids not on the proper form, or non-compliant bids will not be accepted. All bids shall remain valid for a period of 90 calendar days. Cornerstone encourages bids from all interested subcontractors and suppliers, including Small, Minority-Owned, Women-Owned, Disadvantaged, Veteran, Disabled Veteran, and HUBZone business enterprises. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not mandatory.
