Renovation of an industrial development in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, supplies, vehicles, equipment, travel, work drawings, permits, and incidentals necessary to provide one time pallet storage rack installation, and replace damaged or missing anchor bolts and support bars on existing pallet racks in Sacramento, CA. Question Deadline 01/22/2026 A. Permit, Licensing, and Specialized Requirements 1) Contractor shall ensure that all services provided are in compliance with all relevant local and state laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, ADA, guidelines, manufacturer's operating and maintenance installation instructions, standards, and any other applicable directives. It is the responsibility of Contractor to be familiar with and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. Caltrans Contract Manager reserves the right to review and evaluate Contractor's work for compliance with these laws and regulations before payment is made. 2) Contractor shall be responsible for all related functions including, but not limited to, the discussion of building plans, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, permit applications, licenses, engineers, and all compliance related issues. Copies of all the above should be submitted to Caltrans Contract Manager prior to any work performed. B. Installation 1) Contractor shall provide full installation services by a certified install crew, including all labor costs, associated expenses, specialty hand tools and rental equipment required to perform the installation. 2) Contractor shall furnish all materials, components, parts, hardware, and labor to install standard pallet racking in Section 1. See Location Map, Attachment 3. New pallet racks must match existing (Unarco) pallet racks. The following tasks outline the specific installation requirements for Section 1 of the pallet racking system: a) Install two (2) new standard pallet racks to existing pallet rack row Z b) Install 10 new standard pallet racks c) Install 14 Upright 17' Tall x 42" Depth, 3" x 3" 13 Gauge, open columns d) Install 72 Roll form Beam 106" Length x 5" face 16 Gauge with 1 5/8" step 3-pin connector e) Install 72 Wire decks 42" Front to Back x 53" Left to Right with three (3) support channels f) Install 18 10" Roll Spacer with hardware g) Install 16 Bolt-on Column protector 24" x 3" 3) Contractor shall furnish all materials, components, parts, hardware, and labor to install standard pallet racking in Section 2. See Location Map, Attachment 3. New pallet racks must match existing (Spacerack LMT 30). pallet racks. The following tasks outline the specific installation requirements for Section 2 of the pallet racking system: a) Install one (1) additional standard pallet rack to existing pallet rack rows C, D, E, F, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P (total of 14 pallet racks) b) Install 14 Uprights 17' Tall x 36" Depth, 3" x 3" 13 Gauge. Open columns c) Install 84 Roll form Beam 106" Length x 5" face 16 Gauge. w/ 1 5/8" step. 3-pin connector d) Install 84 Wire decks 36" Front to Back x 53" Left to Right with three (3) support channels e) Install 10, 10" Roll Spacer with hardware (rows C, D, G, H, I, J, M, N, O, P) f) Install four (4) 16" Roll Spacer with hardware (rows E & F, K & L) g) Install 14 Bolt-on Column protectors 24" x 3" 4) Contractor shall furnish all materials, components, parts, hardware, and labor to install standard pallet racking in Section 3. See Location Map, Attachment 3. New pallet racks must match existing (Spacerack LMT 30) pallet racks. The following tasks outline the specific installation requirements for Section 3 of the pallet racking system: a) Install 48 new standard pallet racks aligned with existing pallet rack rows E, F, G, H, I, J, K & L b) Install 56 Uprights 17' Tall x 36" Depth, 3" x 3" 13 Gauge. Open columns c) Install 288 Roll form Beam 106" Length x 5" face 16 Gauge. w/ 1 5/8" step. 3-pin connector d) Install 288 Wire decks 36" Front to Back x 53" Left to Right with three (3) support channels e) Install 28, 10" Roll Spacer with hardware (rows C, D, G, H, I, J, M, N, O, P) f) Install 28, 16" Roll Spacer with hardware (rows E, F, K, L) g) Install 112 Bolt-on Column protector 24" x 3" 5) Contractor shall furnish all materials, components, parts, all hardware, and labor to install an approximately 45-foot-long push-back pallet racking system in Section 4. See Location Map, Attachment 3. New pallet racks must match existing (Spacerack LMT 30) pallet racks. The following tasks outline the specific installation requirements for Section 4 of the pallet racking system: a) Install a three (3) Deep, three (3) High, push back rack system b) Installed as approximately 43' Wide x 14' Deep x 16' Tall c) This system shall be designed to accommodate two (2) styles of wooden pallets which are 42x42" and 48x40" d) Max weight of 3,000 lb./pallet (1,400 avg.) e) Shall include end of row guards and bolt-on column protectors 6) Contractor shall furnish all materials, components, parts, hardware, and labor to install end of row guards at every aisle end as outlined below. a) Approximately (9) 42" Long with 3" X 4" X 3/8" angle along frame to protect side of upright and 12" Tall 1/2 circle guard to protect front of column. Right or Left or double, Color: Yellow. b) Approximately (71) 36" Long with 3" X 4" X 3/8" angle along frame to protect side of upright and 12" Tall 1/2 circle guard to protect front of column. Right or Left or double, Color: Yellow. c) Additional components required to complete this service shall be at Contractor's expense to meet any laws and regulations. C. Replacement Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor to remove and replace any damaged or missing anchor bolts, and support bars on all existing pallet racks. D. Additional Parts and Components Upon completion of project, Contractor shall provide additional parts listed below. 1) 50 Orange Bolt-on column protectors 2) 120 Wire racks 3) 10 Green Uprights 36" 4) Four (4) Blue Uprights 42" 5) 120 Orange roll form beams (Approximately: 106" Length X 5.5" face 16 Gauge. with 1-5/8" step. 3-pin interchange connector) 6) 10, 10" Row spacers 7) 10, 16" Row spacers 8) 20 End of row guards 9) 500 Hex bolt with flange whiz lock nut E. If the use of a crane is necessary for removal and installation, Contractor shall notify Caltrans Contract Manager to ensure the area is temporarily closed to pedestrians and vehicles. F. Contractor shall plan with Caltrans Contract Manager for all or any vehicle parking. If any vehicle stays on site overnight Caltrans is not responsible for the security of such vehicle. Caltrans is not responsible for any theft, or damage encounter to any vehicle or property.
