Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Princeton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a 14,000-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; fitness / recreation center; municipal facility; parking garage; service station / car wash facility; water / sewer project; and 14,000-square-foot parking garage.
Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Town of Princeton is replacing its main Fire Station and its Police Station with a new, combined, public safety building that is to be built on the site of a former school that is slated for demolition before this construction begins. The new approximately 14,000 sf building consists of 2 stories with vehicle bays, garage, holding cells, administration area, dispatch center, fitness center and offices. There are no public utilities so the new site will need a well water system, a septic system, fire suppression water storage tank and PFAS remediation system. Sub Bid Category Masonry, Misc.
