Site work for a residential development in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.

Bids are invited for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to construct infrastructure improvements for the Whispering Oaks Subdivision - Phase II. The work includes new water mains and service assemblies, fire hydrant assemblies, gravity sewer mains, manholes and service assemblies, storm drain system (including piping, underdrains with cleanouts, drainage structures, etc.), new roads (including limestone subbase, asphalt pavement base and surface course), concrete curb and gutter, stormwater management, pavement markings, and related items. Work will take place in proximity to and under the dripline of protected Live Oak Trees, and the contractor must consult with a licensed arborist before and during construction to implement adequate protective measures for the roots and health of these trees, adhering to ANSI 300 Tree Care Standards. Question Deadline 02/06/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to Covington Civil and Environmental, LLC located at 2300 14th Street, Gulfport, MS, and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Sealed or electronic bids must be submitted, containing all required information. Contractors must possess a current commercial contractor's license from the Mississippi State Board of Contractors with a classification appropriate for the described work. Bids must be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid security in the form of a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond. The Certificate of Responsibility Number must be indicated on the outside of the sealed proposal. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited and encouraged to make inquiries for subcontracting or supply opportunities. The City reserves the right to consider factors beyond price, including experience, facilities, previous conduct, work quality, financial ability, honesty, and integrity, and to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Non-resident bidders must include a copy of their state's laws regarding bid treatment for Mississippi contractors.
