Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is requesting proposals for Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall Rigging Update for the Portland'5 Centers for the Arts. Metro is seeking proposals from qualified firms to perform the following services and to deliver as described: RIGGING REPLACEMENT: o Demolish and dispose of twenty-three (23) existing manual counterweight lineset arbors, head blocks, loft blocks, mule blocks, rope spot blocks, and rope locks. o Provide new arbors, loft blocks, head blocks, mule blocks, rope spot blocks, and rope locks for twentythree (23) new linesets. o Re-use locking rail, guide wall, battens, slip weights, and batten termination hardware. PROVIDE NEW SINGLE PIPE BATTENS: o Provide twenty-five (25) single pipe battens @ 61'-0" long each. PROVIDE NEW BORDER CURTAINS: o Four (4) Border Curtains: 61'-0"w x 12'-0"h. Fabric: 25 oz IFR Charisma. 0% Fullness Sewn-in. Color: Black. Bottom Pipe Pocket - Bottom Pipes to be re-used.
