Castro Valley Unified School District (hereinafter "District") invites proposals from contractors for a lease-leaseback contract to perform preconstruction and construction services for the Palomares Elementary School Portables Project Name: Palomares ES Portable Project Anticipated Project Cost/Budget: $250,000.00 The scope of work for this project includes: Installation of one (1) classroom portable. A conceptual plan is attached below. The conceptual plan is for reference only, the scope of work shall be defined by the DSA approved plans and specifications. Anticipated Project Schedule: The District desires to commence construction on this Project on or around June 1, 2026 and complete the Project on or before July 17, 2026. DVBE (3%) The District reserves the right to postpone the opening of proposals, accept or reject any and all proposals, and to waive any informality in any proposal, all as District deems to be in its own best interests. This is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage requirements and the successful proposer, and each of its subcontractors, shall be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Wage rates can be obtained from the District by request. All proposers, and all subcontractors listed in any proposal, must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to California Labor Code section 1725.5. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Firms submitting responses must be prequalified pursuant to Education Code section 17406 and Public Contract Code section 20111.6.
