The work consists of replacing damaged fire hydrants at various locations throughout the City of Columbus on an as-needed basis, and includes any other work necessary to complete the contract in accordance with the technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications. Bids must be submitted only through www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies will not be accepted. All questions regarding the project must be sent to the provided email address, and the last day to submit questions is specified. All responses to questions will be posted as addenda on Bid Express. A pre-bid meeting will not be held. All bid documents will be available for review and download on Bid Express after publication. Firms must meet the mandatory requirements stated in the IFB for bid consideration.
