Jenison Public Schools is accepting proposals for the Upper Elementary Utility Relocations project. Proposals are due at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Administration Office at 8375 20th Ave., Jenison, MI 49428, and will be opened virtually via Zoom. Prevailing wages apply as per the State of Michigan Prevailing Wage Act (Public Act 10 of 2023). All contractors and subcontractors must register annually with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity Wage and Hour Division prior to bidding, and registration confirmation with a valid registration number must be submitted with the bid. Each contractor and lower-tier subcontractor must submit certified payroll reports electronically via the State's LCPtracker system. Payment and Performance Bonds are required. Bid documents will be available for electronic download through SmartBid, and all addenda will be uploaded through SmartBid. Bidders are responsible for all documents and the cost of printing and shipping plans/specs associated with this Bid Package. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual for complete bidding information. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project. The site is available for review. It is located south of, and between Jenison High School and Jenison Junior High School at 8295 20TH Ave, Jenison, MI 49428.
