Renovation of a medical facility in Jackson, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to remove the existing metal roof system and install a metal roofing system for the Eastern LA Mental Health System (ELMHS). The Contractor shall be responsible for the following: o Demolition and Removal o Remove all existing metal roof panels from the structure. o Haul off and properly dispose of all removed materials in accordance with local regulations. o Roof Preparation and Repairs o Fabricate and install 24-gauge Galvalume metal T-Panel style system o Panels installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. o Trim, Flashings & Accessories o Provide and install drip edge. o Install metal closures as required. o Install ridge cap. o Install gable trim flashing. o Install pipe jacks for all roof penetrations. o Eliminate existing skylights and install new metal panels in their place. o Fabricate and install J-channel flashing on window headers. o Provide all required fasteners and sealants for a complete weather-tight system.
