Rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewer Collection System. Sealed bids are solicited for sewer repairs and rehabilitation. Bids must be addressed to the Town of Jackson and delivered to 1610 Charter Street Jackson, LA 70748 by 2 P.M. on June 4, 2026. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location and time. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is not mandatory but bidders are encouraged to visit the job site prior to bidding. Complete bid documents, instructions, contracts, plans, specifications, and required bond forms can be downloaded from the designated website, or examined by emailing or visiting the office of the contract engineer. Hard copies are available with a refundable deposit. Bids must be submitted by mail or hand delivery. Contractors must be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164, and must display their license number on the bid and envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Each bidder must include bid security of at least five percent (5%) of the bid price using the specified form. Sureties for bonds must be acceptable as per U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
