Nesbit Water Association, Inc. is requesting bids for the construction of a potable water project, Contract "F" - Hwy 51 to I-55 Water Distribution. The work includes the installation of approximately 1,600 linear feet of 16 inch diameter PVC pipe; 415 linear feet of 24 inch steel casing jacked and bored; 450 linear feet of 18 inch diameter HDPE pipe installed in casings; and associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances. An alternate bid will also be received for 12 inch diameter piping. Bids must be submitted in sealed paper format for a single prime contract, and will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder for either the Base Bid or Alternate Bid as deemed in the best interest of the Owner. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid must accompany each bid. Proposals with qualifying letters will be considered irregular and not considered for award.
