The work required is the furnishing of all labor and materials, and the performance of all specified activities for the construction of the Fallen Oak Subdivision - Phase 5. The project consists of the installation of new 6" PVC water main fittings, valves, fire hydrants, and service assemblies. The contract time is forty-five consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $250 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Bids will only be accepted from bidders to whom the contract documents and any addenda have been issued by the Engineer. Bids from those who did not receive the documents from the Engineer will be returned unopened. Non-resident bidders must submit a copy of their resident state's current law regarding the treatment of non-resident contractors; bids without this will be rejected. The Fannin Water Association reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids.
