Sealed bids are invited for the construction of 19.217 miles of maintenance (other than bridge) on various roads A-E, under State Aid Program Project No. SAP-61(20)M in Rankin County. The work includes mobilization, unclassified excavation, granular material (Class 5, Group C), base repairs, edge repairs, leveling, cold milling of bituminous pavement, ultra-thin asphalt pavement, scrub seal, adjustment of manholes, maintenance of traffic, installation of additional construction signs, multiple types and lengths of thermoplastic traffic striping and legends, and installation of various reflective traffic markers and signs. Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid. Any proposal accompanied by qualifying letters will be considered irregular and rejected. Plans and specifications are available from designated offices and must be purchased through the specified vendor. Electronic bids must be submitted in pdf format through the designated portal, with the bidder responsible for timely delivery. Notice to Contractors: Contract Time: 90 Working Days The award, if made, will be made to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.
